Cat fur on the nose, very sweet and round and pretty heavy. Lots there! Creamy and voluptuous with quite a tight finish. But waves of different crème caramel flavours on the finish too. Ripe pineapple and mango accented by toasty caramel and lots of spice on the nose. Rich, sweet and mouthfilling with loads of pineapple, banana and apricot. Tasted on several occasions, most recently at home, the Suduiraut '05 is slightly deeper in colour than the 2007. It has a rich, almost decadent nose with a conspicuous veneer of vanillary new oak underneath which lies honey, orange peel, creme brule... Neal Martins Wine Journal.
