Straw bright, aromas of white peach and lime; flavor notes of peach,Asian pear and citrus, with good mouth-feel and zippy acidity across the palate to a short finish.
An excellent wine for the price. I paid $4.99! A dry, refreshing Riesling with a crisp finish. Just the right amount of acidity. Pairs well with seafood.
Good weekday wine that paired well with chicken (and I think turkey and pork would also pair well). Fragrant pear and peach on the nose with ripe pear and mineral notes through to the finish (semi-dry).
This was our first Riesling and we found it to be quite drinkable. Just the right amount of everything and at an affordable price point for everyday.

Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. Edging into medium sweetness, but wonder-fully fixed on very pure Riesling fruit, this lovely wine smacks of white peaches and blossoms and sports near-perfect balancing acidity. It tastes of fruit rather sugar and comes with a vibrant, long-lasting finish. It is a remarkable value by any standard, and it will make memorable drinking with all sorts of Asian fare.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.
Rating: 85/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. Expressive and well-made dry Riesling is a commodity that to us seems in short supply, and, as this bottling demonstrates, it is imperative, but also challenging to overcome the tendency of the grape to be slender, tight-fisted when made in this style. In this instance, that fruity reticence allows underlying bitterness to show through, and, while inexpensive, the wine wants for both depth and the variety's bouncy charms.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.
Rating: 88/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. Falling somewhere between the winery's Dry and Harvest Select bottlings in terms of its very slight sweetness, this off-dry Riesling displays lots of lively, slightly citrus-tinged, fresh-pear fruitiness and reminds that the varietal can make wines that are at once both delicate and long on character. It too is exceptionally well-balanced, and it will do the trick in washing down the likes of sautéed chicken breasts and shallots in a light sauce.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.

Winemaker's Notes:
Score: N/A Tasting Notes: Our Columbia Valley Riesling is a blend of Riesling from throughout Washingtonâs Columbia Valley. We craft it to be a refreshing, off-dry Riesling vintage after vintage. The wine delivers sweet lime and peach character with subtle mineral notes. This is our "every day Riesling" that is a pleasure to drink and easy to match with a variety of foods. Try with foods such as fresh fruit, crab, mild cheese & chicken or with herbs such as chervil, coriander seeds, dill & parsley. Web Site: Click Here
