What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Editorial Reviews

A very floral nose full of orange blossoms, honeysuckle, sweet lemon, peach and raspberry tones, a very pretty nose, just a hint of lemon verbena, a touch hot - huge acids but fairly sweet as well, not showing great integration, some floral tones, then figgy and fleshy with a bit of apple butter and a touch of tea before finishing with fairly intense sweet peaches and lingering lemony acidity. 86pts

Winemaker Notes - We craft our Columbia Valley Riesling to be an inviting, refreshing, off-dry Riesling vintage after vintage. This Riesling consistently delivers classic Washington state Riesling characters of juicy peach, ripe pear, melon, with subtle mineral notes. This is our everyday Riesling that is versatile and easy to drink.

Bright green apples on the nose. Sweet, sweet apples in the mouth. Sweet works well with this wine, but its inconsistent from the nose.

A beautifully clear wine. Soft oranges on the nose. Crisp, peachy, and a semi-dry finish. I like this.

The nose is a bit tight, but there are notes of citrus, floral , and stone. Mandarin orange predominates the palate along with a bit of peach. Off dry, with a finish longer than I expected.
