Nice green herb nose with a touch of chili accenting the grapefruity tone that rise above a spicy, perfumed floral tone on the nose. This is fairly rich in the mouth, almost lush yet with vibrant acids that keep the wine from overwhelming the palate. The flavors are deep and fresh, redolent of peach with hints of lime and orange zest. The finish is crisp and fairly long with a nice fruity finale. A bolder style of Sauvignon that remains quite fruit driven without leaning too heavily to the grassy end of the spectrum 90pts

This is an excellent vintage in Washington, and Bob Bertheau has made a soft, smooth, well-crafted Sauvignon Blanc. Just a bit more than one-third was barrel fermented, and the blend is 100% varietal. It's a fruity, polished effort with citrusy highlights, but I'd love to see the winemaker veer a bit more towards a Washington State-style that includes some sweet grassiness in the finish.

The strong scent of orange peel and highlights of orange candy is not bad because the fruit flavors are expansive, and include grapefruit and a lot of citrus as well. It's got textures that suggest time sur lie, and a persistent, focused midpalate that continues on through an extended finish.

Soft in texture, this is a reserved white wine, showing modest grapefruit and green olive flavors, with a hint of caramel on the delicate finish. Drink now.

Nicely crafted and a bit riper than the regular Sauvignon, this fruit-driven wine adds light butterscotch and hints of wood spice to the basic citrus and apple flavors. The acids taste like fresh-squeezed Meyer lemons.

Bright and juicy, with a spicy oak edge to the green olive, lime and orange peel flavors. Drink now.

Bright and juicy, offering a lively mouthfeel of pear, herb and lime flavors, lingering easily.
