Not a bad cab but nothing that will knock your socks off.
Bright, full bodied. Slightly high on the alcohol. Would not buy again but was satisfactory for a first try.
Not complex but really great for the price point. Surprisingly smooth. Definite tar flavor. I am going to buy a ton for thanksgiving. Perfect for a low price wine to pleasure the guests.

On the lighter side, showing nicely ripe cherry and spice flavors, as well as hints of tobacco on the soft finish. Drink now.
The aromas are firm and appealing, a good mix of black cherry and black currant, with a hint of garden soil. The mouthfeel is young and still taut, showing raspberry along with cherry fruit, and some stiff but well-managed tannins.
Spice mdash; a hint of tobacco, a hint of milk chocolate mdash; gives way to a ripe set of fruit flavors in this big shouldered, thoroughly seductive red. The texture is driven by fine, peppery tannins, which stem the tide of ripe, plummy fruit, giving the wine a touch of elegance even as it remains irresistible. Itrsquo;s drinking beautiful now; a by-the-case buy.
Polished, round and generous, offering a plush mouthful of blackberry, cherry and mint flavors that ride easily over fine tannins through the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2015.
This should prove to be quite popular, as it's loaded with blackberry and sweet black cherry fruit flavors. It carries the fruit with stiff but polished tannins, and brings in accents of licorice, coffee and dark chocolate. Nothing is overdone; the balance here is just right, and the addition of 16% Syrah brings with it a dash of pepper.
Firm in texture, with a slightly gravelly edge to the dark berry and plum flavors. Finishes with a cedary note. Best from 2013 through 2016.
Ripe, soft and generous, appealing for its earth-scented currant flavors, finishing with a firm layer of tannins. Drink now through 2010.
Cabernet from this iconic 40-year-old vineyard consistently delivers power, structure and rich concentrated black fruit. This is a dense, decadent wine with great aging potential. The vintage is 100% pure Cabernet with intense dark blackberry and plum fruit flavors and long finish. This is a true steakhouse red!
Our goal with the Columbia Valley Cabernet is to highlight concentrated Washington red fruit in an accessible style. This is our inviting Cab with plenty of complexity and structure with silky tannins. It’s also very versatile with food--try it with beef, pork or pasta.
