Chateau St. Jean Pinot Blanc Sonoma Valley 2006
A combination of barrel fermentation and tank fermentation was employed to retain the fresh fruit character of this wine, sourced from the famous Robert Young Vineyard in the Alexander Valley. Classic Alexander Valley aromas of rich, ripe pear, melon and yellow apples fill the nose, while flavors of nectarine, peaches, apples and hints of citrus are framed by a perfectly balanced acidity. Try it as an aperitif or with steamed mussels.
