My rating 86: Body has noticeable Glycerin what gives it the smooth mouth feel. It is of the dry fruity kind. On the nose it comes up short nothing long or appealing. The other ratings mention Mango taste, and other wild stipulation o tastes that I cannot follow. This all BS to the extreme! Just take it as it is a simple full bodied Chardonnay that white wine lovers will enjoy.

Spicy ripe pears, nectarines, buttered toast and hints of vanilla notes leap from the nose of this Chardonnay, while a rich, ripe tropical fruit entry leads into flavors of honeysuckle, apricot, citrus and creamy vanilla on the mouth that surround a smoky finish.

One of the great values in California Chardonnay is their Sonoma County cuvée. It may be the most flavorful Chardonnay offering in its price range. It is 100% barrel-fermented and the majority is put through malolactic fermentation. The similarly-styled 2000 Chardonnay Sonoma and 2001 Chardonnay Sonoma both possess honeyed tropical fruit notes (particularly pineapples) as well as gorgeous floral characteristics, excellent underlying acidity, and copious ripeness and flesh. The oak is unobtrusive in these flavor-filled efforts. While some of my elitist colleagues keep screaming, "anything but Chardonnay," the fact is that when Chardonnay is good, it's damned delicious. Readers should be buying these by the case, and enjoying them over the next several years.

One of the best buys in the Chardonnay world is the 150,000 cases of 1999 Chardonnay. Exhibiting floral, tropical fruit, pear, and peach notes, it is a fruit-driven, beautifully balanced, pure white to enjoy during its first several years.

A pretty wine, with tangy apple and pear flavors that are backed by a core of citrus and herb notes.

Yoursquo;ll find some tasty apricots, peach and vanilla-oak flavors in this soft, creamy wine. Itrsquo;s a nice California Chardonnay, slightly sweet in the finish, and a great accompaniment to salmon or pork.

Winemaker's Notes:

Beautiful floral aromas of Plumeria and honeysuckle bring a tropical feel to the nose of this Chardonnay. A rich, buttery entry layered with flavors of orange zest, Asian pears and Golden Delicious apples surrounds a subtle, smoky backnote throughout a well-balanced finish.
