Vintage: 1987 09/13/2012

From magnum: Plenty of caramel greets the nose followed by sweet blackberry fruit and earth aromas. This is still rich and round in the mouth and full of very attractive black currant and jammy black raspberry flavors. There's fine balance between the structural component and a complex array of spice and gently herbal notes on the back end. This is really drinking well with some wood tannin driving the spicy finish, though there is plenty of sweet, juicy fruit covering it. Delicious. 91pts
