Chateau Souverain Merlot Alexander Valley Winemaker's Reserve 2005
This 2005 Alexander Valley Winemaker's Reserve Merlot is highly aromatic with notes of blackberry, raspberry, roasted coffee and mocha. The palate offers generous blackberry fruit with a hint of ginger root. This rich, mouthfilling Merlot is impeccably balanced with a round, ripe tannin structure, good acidity and complex dark fruit. The wine has a long, spiced finish.
At Souverain, our goal is to make authentic wines that are the best expression of each varietal and Alexander Valley. We believe our consumers deserve to drink great wine every night, so our wines are exceptional & attainable.
