RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Fabulous. Rich plum combined with sweet wet, tobacco. A little lacking in complexity, but again we're talking about Merlot and not Cabernet Sauvignon. Paid $39, but I consider that a bargain buy once every few months for the sumptuous pleasure this wine gives. Usually drink Napa/Sonoma Cabs but when I want a change, I go to Pomerol...and this is the best one under $70 that I've tasted. Just had it with rib-eye. Did not even need to decant, its smooth and richly refined as it is. Enjoy. :)
Tasting notes The aromas of very mature black fruits are coated by a quality wooded. Powerful and present in mouth, this wine is supported by elegant tannins, which ask two-six years to become supple. Harmonies Veal chops in ceps, beef tenderloin, spiny lobster.
