Robert Parker said : 'The 1994 is reminiscent of the 1985, with more structure and tannic ferocity. The wine reveals a deep purple color, and a tight but emerging nose of black fruits, lead pencil, and well-integrated oak. Substantial on the palate, with moderate tannin, this medium-bodied, classically built Bordeaux should be at its peak between 2000-2010.'
