Lots of pear and peach notes. A very decent Sauternes.

Outstanding young sauternes. Aromas and flavors of apricot, honey, toasted coconut. Lovely texture. Sweetness and acidity in nice balance., even so young. Will be interesting to see how it is in a few years once the acidity has further mellowed.

Bright yellow-gold. Sexy oak nuances complicate aromas of peach, guava, marzipan and flowers. Bright acidity frames the sweet tropical fruit salad and light oak flavors and gives the wine a wonderful inner-mouth aromatic quality. Boasts captivatin... Stephen Tanzers IWC. Quite rich, with mango, pineapple and apricot notes on a large frame. The long, creamy finish features a lot of ginger and nectarine. Shows raw power now, but the purity and length are here.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 Sigalas Rabaud 375ml

This is bright with a fresh and vibrant backbone of acidity and palate. The first impression of the palate is full of honey and caramel and the finish is long and silky. James Suckling. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Sigalas Rabaud 750ml

Densely structured wine, full of honey, cinnamon, and sweetness. The acidity gives just the right counterpoint. Wine Enthusiast. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Sigalas Rabaud 750ml

Mid gold. Fresh less intensely sweet than some and still quite chewy. Very youthful. Confident. Just a bit lean. 17/20 Jancis Robinson.

The Sigalas-Rabaud has a well defined nose: grapefruit, nectarine, honey and lime, much more primal than some of the other 2009s. The palate is very well balanced with excellent acidity: apricot, honeysuckle, a touch of orange zest and then vibrant w... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Pale saturated lemon-yellow. Fresh floral aromas of apricot citrus fruits and saffron. Not a huge wine but boasts lovely fruit concentration and inner-mouth aromatic perfume with juicy acidity nicely lifting the flavors of candied lemon peel apricot and honey. Lighter and more subtle than most Sauternes this is neither honeyed nor syrupy but rather delicate compact and very well balanced. Finishes moderately long with a pretty white pepper note. Sigalas-Rabaud can be a very Barsac-like Sauternes; and though it can pair with a number of dishes even white meats it always makes an outstanding aperitif. It s no different in 09.
