Im not a huge white wine fan but this wine may have changed that. Sweet, acidic, but not syrupy. A crisp finish! Smells of melon and honeysuckle. Definitely a great wine

My wife and I loved this wine. It was so bright, so crisp. There was a hint of petrol in the nose, but it was very mild. And the sweeteness was balanced by the bite.

Wine & Spirits Review - Rated 93 - With each vintage, Eroica, the joint venture between Dr. Loosen and Chateau Ste. Michelle, has grown more assured. The 2006 from joint winemakers Bob Bertheau and Ernie Loosen is simply invigorating, a mineral wine of moderate, kabinett-level ripeness that shows up the wine's generous fruit without being sweet in the least. Aromas of golden apple with a hint of peach blossom lead; the flavors are deeper, more pearlike, finishing with a brisk, vibrant minerality.

Wine Advocate Review - Rated 91 - The whites start with the 2006 Eroica Riesling read more...made in collaboration with the Dr. Loosen estate in Germanys Mosel region. Since the project began, this has consistently been among the best non-dessert Rieslings produced in the USA and the 2006 continues in that tradition. Light straw-colored, it offers up a lovely floral, mineral, honeysuckle bouquet, crisp flavors featuring melon and pineapple, excellent balance, and a long, pure, refreshing finish. This wine may well evolve in the manner of one of Dr. Loosens great Mosel Rieslings. Stashing a few bottles is a very safe bet.

Ripe, fresh and juicy, with immense generosity, brimming with mineral-scented, honey-kissed apricot and peach flavors, supple on the finish and nicely laced with just enough acidity to keep it long and lively.

The perfect riesling and not to expensive.
