What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

“The Indian Wells Cabernet is our warm climate ripe, jammy Cabernet. The 2005 bottling is no exception. The wine exudes sweet blackberry pie and vanilla aromas and flavors with loads of complexity. This is our big bold, obvious Cabernet and after just two vintages, it has quickly become a fan favorite. Wonderful Cab from such esteemed growers as Indian Wells, Jones, Washington Fruit and even Cold Creek Vineyard are woven together with a little Syrah to make a wine that says boldly ‘I’m from Washington.’ Meant to enjoy in its youth, try it with shish kabobs, a flat iron steak or even with read more...

Reviews

A dark ruby-colored wine, moderate and balanced tannins, fruit, and sugar are pleasant on the palate without being too overpowering. Vanilla and cherry on the nose.

Nice, soft cabernet. Very approachable and balanced. A little red fruit that is typical of Columbia Valley, but this is a very universally appealing style of wine. A bit medicinal. The wine does not develop much in the glass.

Quite possibly the best cabernet under $20. Amazing. Washington state goodness.

As before - a very rich fruit forward wine. Good value for money. Firm bodied, but balanced by the warm chocolate and cherry notes. Still hot on the nose (1 hour after opening), but nice.

Rich notes of chocolate and cherry on the nose. A touch of ethanol, but the bottle had just been opened. Nice minerality with licorice and fennel notes. Very jammy, in fact maybe overly so. An intense blueberry finish.
