Good. Earthy, silky, typical merlot profile black cherry and wood, the 30% cabernet makes the finish silky smooth and pleasant. Also can taste a lot of raspberries. Pretty good for the price at $12. Looking forward to having some later with a pot roast.

Really interesting wine, my first Bordeaux. Aromas of cedar, pencil shavings, and black plums. Flavors of cedar and pencil shavings again, and black cherries, with just a hint of chocolate. Nice and full-bodied but the tannins are silky and mellow. Slight sour aftertaste, very pleasant. We had some 70% dark chocolate with this and the pairing was surprisingly nice!

I had this at a business dinner at Fleming's Steakhouse. Petit filet mignon, crab stuffed shrimp with a glass. It was wonderful!

Chacirc;teau Saint-Sulpice is a 100-acre estate situated in the heart of Bordeaux just south of St. Emilion. It is planted with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Spice in the aroma and the soft, ripe flavors of Merlot. Fragrant, well-balanced hints of plum and pepper make this wine truly enjoyable. Great for grilled meats, spicy sauces, or an afternoon barbecue.

Usually somewhat spicy in the aroma and taste, with a soft, ripe flavor of Merlot. A very approachable red Bordeaux for drinking upon release and within 5-6 years of vintage.

For years a customer favorite in our store and at several local restaurants, this easy drinking Bordeaux has built a reputation for reliability and good taste that none will refute. Accessible cherry fruit and a firm, but not impossibly dry finish make this wine the perfect match with pork and poultry.

The wine shows lots of red-fruit aromas. It is concentrated, full and dense in the mouth, with silky tannins and a supple finish.
