Chateau Roquefort Corail Rose Clairette. Syrah. Mourvedre. Grenache. Cinsault. Carignan Provence Cotes de Provence 2010
Chateau de Roquefort is a small 50-acre estate located on the edge of the Bandol appellation. The young and talented winemaker Raimond de Villeneuve's biodynamic vineyard is situated in a natural amphitheater, giving it a totally unique microclimate. This wine has all the qualities you look for in a Provencal rosé: a bouquet of bright, fresh strawberry and raspberry fruits, refreshing acidity on the palate and a thirst quenching finish. The previous vintage of this wine was hailed by Eric Asimov of the New York Times as the best rosé of the vintage.
