Château Rolland-Maillet Red Bordeaux Blend St. Émilion 2006
This little-known, modest estate has produced a fine effort here- there is much to like on the nose what with bright, sweet cherry in abundance. On entry, this wine is velvety-smooth, balanced (dissipated tannin) and with a full, creamy mouth-feel. Could last a couple more years but seems perfect now. 88 points.
Well balanced, bright and luscious.
