Best since the 2005
This product of this small estate is often hard to find. I picked up this 2005 in Orange County CA 2 weeks ago on speculation and was not disappointed: the superior structure of this wine provides nicely layered tannins on a bed of wild blueberry. The color is enticing with no sign of aging (oxidation) and on the palate there is a spicy, slightly creamy texture with plenty of cedar-box blueberry flavors poking through. Tannins do make the mouth pucker, so store this one for 2-3 more years. Pretty decent value at 18 dollars.
Not the best Bordeaux I had.
