Shows a lovely concentration of currant and blackberry. Hints of vanilla follow through to a full body, with layers of ripe fruit and fine, fruit-coated tannins. I love the ripe and pretty fruit to this. Very fruit-forward. The chateau cut back on the new wood, and went for a fruitier style.

A bright and solid core of cherry and blueberry fruit layered nicely throughout the glass with a good ending of nutmeg mocha and vanilla. Rich and round. Try it with pork tenderloins in a light brown gravy Salisbury steak with onions and mushrooms and Swedish meatballs with egg noodles.

Winemaker's Notes:

Berry Bros & Rudd review: Lifted aromas of violets and fresh black cherries greet the nose whilst the
palate has a good concentration of red and black fruit, fine tannins and a
toasty, savoury twist to the finish. A lovely freshness runs through this wine,
suggesting it will keep well for many years to come.
