Ein Wein mit dichter Konzentation, Röstaromatik und fast kalifornischer Cabernet-Wucht. Schon in der Jugend bereitet dieser Wein Trinkspass.

55% cabernet sauvignon 40% merlot and 5% petit verdot. Aged in 15% new oak for 18 months. The nose displays abundant chocolate with roast coffee and blackberry. Flavors of cinnamon and red cherry grace the surprisingly lush mid-palate. Great structure and integration here. Shows power but with superb freshness. A gorgeous wine! Alex Lallos.

Winemaker's Notes:

"*The strongest Prieure Lichine produced in many years*, along with consultant Stephane Derenoncourt, the proprietors have fashioned a wine with true opulence as well as wonderful projected aromatics of blue, red and black fruits, licorice, flowers and subtle oak. Silky tannins, a sexy, generous, opulent attack, mid-palate and finish, no hard edges and well-integrated acidity, tannin and alcohol (14.5%) are all found in this impressive Margaux. Give it 2-5 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 25. It is potentially one of the longest lived wines made at Prieure Lichine since some of their classic efforts from the sixties."*Robert Parker Wine Advocate (92-94 points)**We will notify you on arrival Summer 2013*

Tasting Notes:

"Very fragrant, apricot, mirabelle plum, amylic aroma, sweet, spicy on the palate, quite fat and oaky, long, cognac on the finish." (Jacques Dupont, Le Point: 14/20)
