Sehr intensive Farbe, schön fruchtig in der Nase, wunderbar nach Süssigkeiten, Lakritze. Im Mund: Fruchtig, jedoch ziemlich harte Tannine. Im Keller belassen und 20 Jahre später geniessen!

This is fantastic for 2013 with seamless tannins and a long finish. Extremely well made. Full body with lovely core of fruit and a fresh finish. Tannin tension here. Reminds me of the excellent 1988. About 82% cabernet sauvignon and 18% merlot. James Suckling.

Comprised of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon this is a densely ripe wine full of black fruits smoky wood and generous tannins. Given its structure the wine will obviously age well even if it is drinkable in the medium term. Wine Enthusiast.

Features a bright lively leafy edge with cassis bush and tobacco framing the slightly tangy core of red currant and black cherry showing a solid note of iron. Cuts a distinctive profile displaying sappy intensity through the finish.

Pauillac is probably the most famous village in Bordeaux. Located between St. Julien and St. Estephe, it has more of the top ranked chateau than the other four appellations of the Haut Medoc. Because of the gravely soils and great drainage, Pauillac has the ideal conditions to grow great Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines from this village are some of the longest-lived in Bordeaux. The harmony and variety of the grapes of Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is unique in the Pauillac appellation. It is without doubt the proportion of grape varieties that endows the wine with such longevity and such an exceptional character, without the slightest hint of hardness. Grapes: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot Notes: A dark red colour and expressive nose of red berries and Tangerines. Full bodied, mellow and fleshy, with a compact texture, strength and breed. Cellar: Can be enjoyed now, or like many great Bordeauxs, for many years to come!

This has muscle, but is fleshy and almost creamy along the edges, with a very dense core of plum, blackberry and cassis waiting in reserve. A sleek iron edge cruises in on the finish and adds some serious length.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 Pichon-Longueville Baron 1500ml

This Bordeaux was blended form the village of Pauillac. The Les Tourelles is a Merlot based blend with cabernet sauvignon and cab franc. On the nose you get leather and subtle notes of sawdust mixed with dark fruit. The palate is soft and deep with a calm power to it, which is apparent on the finish with the gripping tannins. The finish stays with you for some time but falls away gracefully. Highly recommended with fish meals and fruit. Cheers!
