Chateau Peynaud Merlot Carbernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc 2005

Member Review by rojwilco:

Deep ruddy red, smells of earth, dried cherries and cranberries, leather, tastes flat and grassy. Unappealing. Tannic finish. Pairings: needs food, cheese, meat, crackers, anything. second tasting, from cellar - man, this wine really smoothed out. very good wine for laying down, probably a really good bargain and flavor investment. need to get more of this to sock away for a rainy day!
