Spicy plummy fruits on the nose with touches of bitter cocoa, black spice, and modest herbaceous tones – bright and juicy in the mouth, really fresh feel, small yet polished tannins, slightly astringent and very red fruited, red plummy fruit, integrated wood, short, spicy, drying finish (89-90)

Lovely color. Fruity ripe nose and as always with wines made by Derenoncourt it displays great smoothness. On the palate this smooth method perfectly fits to this wine which in my opinion has been marked for too long by toughness. Today a happy smoothness is back without having the wine affected by it. This is the main benefit. The wine is long despite not powerful. Jean-Marc Quarin - www.quarin.com
