Château Penin Rosé Blend Bordeaux Contrôlée Rosé 2010
External Reviews for Château Penin Rosé Blend Bordeaux Contrôlée Rosé
Never before have we seen a rosé from Bordeaux with such a beautiful color. Usually Cabernet-based rosés tend to look orangy/brown - but this one's a gorgeous pink. Almost totally dry, with just a hint of fruity plum and cassis on the crisp finish, use this as you would a flavorful, unoaked white wine. It's simply delicious with grilled or roasted chicken.
A light and fruity rosé with very low acidity due to the ripeness of the grapes at harvest. Very elegant and easy to drink. Wonderful with food or just as an apéritif.
Made from 50% Cabernet and 50% Merlot, this dry rosé has noticeably more body than those found in the Loire or the south of France. Classic strawberry, raspberry, mineral and rose petal notes carry through a vibrantly crisp finish.
