The first vintage of this wine came out in 1933. Aged in French Nevers oak, 1/3 of which was new. Delicate garnet color, and a shy nose, and with lively ripe fruit, reminescent of dusty berries, the 1998 Chateau Musar demonstrates quintessential elegance. Less obviously spicy, this vintage is dominated by Cinsault and certain to continue improving in the cellar. Certified Organic by IMC
