RP: A stunning offering from one of Fronsac's most consistent overachievers, this inky blue purple-tinged 2005 offers up aromas of black raspberries, crushed rocks, spring flowers, earth, and spice. Superior concentration, medium to full body, beautiful integration of acidity and tannin, and a 30+ second finish result in an impressive Fronsac.

RP: A candidate for the top Fronsac of the vintage, the 2005 Moulin-Haut-Laroque is the qualitative equivalent of the estate's brilliant 2003. Its dense purple color is accompanied by sweet cassis fruit interwoven with notions of cold steel and flowers. Elegant, powerful, medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic, and impeccably pure and textured, this is a sleeper of the vintage.
