Château Moulin Saint-Georges Red Bordeaux Blend St. Émilion Grand Cru 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

We are somewhat surprised and 100 % delighted at Monsieur Alain Vauthier's (TheOwner of St Emilions greatest wine, Ch. Ausone) decision to release thisbrilliant Chateau En Primeur. When we tasted this, it was followed next byChapelle de Ausone and then Ausone itself. Fonbel held its own like David toGoliath. It was brilliant and at this price a total bargain. Rich sweet, ripeblackberry fruit. Dense with soft tannins and glorious St Emilion soft appealand Ausone majesty. Drink from arrival in 2008 to 2015. BBRScore 16.5/20

Deep, dark ruby in color. Superconcentrated aromas of crushed blackberry, black licorice, espresso and leather follow through to a full body, with ultrafine tannins and loads of coffee and fruit flavors. Very long. Best after 2016. 2,500 cases made. ... Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2005 Moulin St Georges 1500ml

Saturated ruby-purple to the rim. Superripe, sexy aromas of blueberry, crushed rocks, minerals and flowers. Stuffed with dark berry, mineral and bitter chocolate flavors. A large-scaled, rich fruit bomb of a wine, the densest and most powerful vintag... Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2005 Moulin St Georges 1500ml
