Château Moulin de Ferrand Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend Entre-Deux-Mers Blanc 2009

Member Review by InWineTruth:

Entre-Deux-Mers is clear bright, aromas of citrus water and white flowers, flavor notes of lemons, green fruits and orange oil with bright acidity thru a short finish.

After seven (7) days vacu-corked in the fridge (VCF), this wine is still good if not even better. Nose is about the same, acid is slightly lower, and the fruit and mineral are full and delicious, even better than when I first opened it. It's a testament to the winemaker and QPR of this wine that is lasts so well for a week VCF.

Very nice proportion between flavor, acid, and aroma. Overall a light and airy wine, not intense, taste is dry or off-dry, with light to medium acid and light to medium body. Solid nose of grass, grapefruit, and mineral. Flavors in the mouth of grapefruit, ripe not sweet greenish melon, and light minerals. Would pair well with cuisine you'd pair with a light sauvignon blanc.
