Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Light-bodied, some sweetness - but not obnoxious. Very nicely balanced -- more like a chablis. Drank with Sushi and it was a good match. This was exactly the right time to drink this 1999 vintage which had won some awards. [87]

Fruity, almost like drinking plum juice. A bit past its prime. This wine should be drunk young. [78]

A great wine for beginning drinkers. Quite sweet...refreshing dessert or sipping wine with very definite grape scent and taste.
