External Reviews for Château Monbrison Red Bordeaux Blend Margaux
Ruby-flecked violet color. Chocolate covered cherries over sweet plum aromas. Eucalyptus and candied raspberries on the palate. Lots of fine tannins. Long lingering fruit finish with hints of vanilla. Mike Supple. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2005 Monbrison 750ml
An accessible and clean style of Bordeaux from a superb vintage. Full of cassis fruit and with no obvious wood on the nose or palate.
Wine Spectator ReviewRated 91Delivers aromas of raspberry, blackberry and coffee. Full-bodied, soft and caressing, with pretty ripe fruit and a lovely balance of ripe tannins, toasty oak and ripe fruit. Friendlier than the 2000. Best after 2011.
