Chateau Monbousquet St. Emilion Grand Cru 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

90% Tempranillo with the remainder composed of Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo. Grapes come principally from the 'Rioja Alavesa' sub-zone on sunny south-facing slopes running down from the Sierra de Cantabria mountain range to the Ebro river. The grapes from these ideally-situated vineyards produce ripe wines with excellent structure. Soils are composed mainly of chalk. This wine sees 12 months in American oak casks and another two years aging in bottle
