Chateau Minuty Cuvee Prestige Cotes de Provence Rose Provence Corse Côtes de Provence Provence Corse 2009

Member Review by WineGuy2:

The finest Rose' in the world. Hailing from the Cotes de Provence in Saint-Tropez, this is the gem of the entire Riviera - from St. Tropez to Monaco. The official wine of the Cannes Film Festival this wine remains the jewel. #1 selling wine of the NY's "Hamptons" and NYC. Flashy when seen being sipped in the Hollywood restaurants or on South Beach in FL. Super-size it with the 1.5L size that resembles a large format 3L in the typical Provencal shapped bottle. SEXY! Don't miss this Rose'. Perfect with all foods especially Moulles de Provence and it's a great wine with those lobsters you have in mind. Cheers!

In 1955, the rosé, for which the estate is known, propelled it to be included in the 23 Cru Classé des Côtes de Provence. Farnet’s son, Etienne Matton, became president of the winery around that time, and sought to restrict grape yields and place emphasis on quality control. His sons Jean-Etienne and François-Matton now oversee the winery.  Though not certified organic, the wine is produced without the use of additional chemicals, pesticides and fertilizers. The estate is best known for its high quality rosés, but they also produce dry red and white wines.  Read less

Weingut: Château MinutyLand: FrankreichRegion: Provence - BandolRebsorten: 50% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 20% TibourenInhalt: 0,75 lAlkoholgehalt: 12,5 Vol.%Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 6-8 °C Rosé > Frankreich > Provence
