Château Michel de Montaigne 2005

Backordered. Due in May 10th, reserve yours today! This Chateau is owned by Frank Mahler-Besse, owner of Chateau Palmer in Margaux and many other first class wine making properties in Bordeaux and around the world. In 1964 his great-great grandmother rebuilt this historic Bergerac property which lies less than six miles from the village of St. Emilion. The terrior is identical to right bank Bordeaux and so the vineyards hold 60 % Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc on clay and marl soils and the vines average 20 years of age. Of course, just like in St. Emilion, 2005 was an incredibly successful vintage, producing a rich, ripe wine that will drink beautifully now continue to improve for several years to come. Since the appellation is Bergerac, this little gem offers value that is practically unmatched in the world of French wine. Don’t miss it.<small>Terms & Conditions : Pay only $0.99 per bottle Standard UPS Ground Shipping on Chateau Michel de Montaigne 2005 Bergerac All other items ship at their regular advertised shipping prices.
