Château Malescot St. Exupéry Red Bordeaux Blend Margaux 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

"This exhibits plum, milk chocolate and light toasty oak aromas. Full-bodied, with soft, velvety tannins, delicious fruit and a medium finish. Very balanced and nicely textured. Enjoy the softness...90" WS 03/10

Brick red in the glass. Sharp cheese on the nose with some green, herbal tones. Some tobacco. On the palate, bold alcohol and acidity. Mineral edge. Black cherry, red and black current. Very dry. Hints of tobacco leaf. Smoky qualities. Fairly ripe. - Blind tasted 9/15/10
