Loads of crushed raspberries, minerals and spices on the nose. Full-bodied, and concentrated, yet very refined and tight. A lovely elegant claret. Seriously good. Best after 2005. 13,330 cases made. -Wine Spectator A strong effort from this property, which tends to produce solid, tannic, charmless wines, the 2000 exhibits more density, richness, and fruit than I have seen in recent vintages. Sweet black currant and cherry notes intermixed with balsa wood and soil nuances are interwoven into a medium-bodied wine with ripe tannin and excellent persistence. Anticipated maturity: now-2010 - Wine Advocate
