Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Blanc Pessac 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"A white with lovely minerality and sliced lemon character. It's full and fresh with bright acidity and a long exciting finish. The wines keep getting better and better here....94" JS 02/13

The Malartic-Lagraviere has a well defined minerally nose with fine definition and poise. The palate has fresh green lime on the entry crisp and tense with great precision on the green apple lime and lemon zest exit. One of the best white wines that I have tasted out of barrel at this estate. Neal Martins Wine Journal.

What a wine, with wonderful intensity of lemon, limes, dried papaya. Full and layered for a white. It goes on for minutes. This estate is rocking now. Tasted twice. James Suckling. A Bordeaux Blanc wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Malartic-Lagraviere Blanc 1500ml

The Domaine de Lagravière, famed since time immemorial for its excellent terroir and this famous "hillock" of gravel. In honour of the Count Hippolyte of Malartic, admiral who served the Kings of France and owner of the Domaine in the 18th Century, the Château was renamed Malartic-Lagraviere.Bought by Michèle and Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie at the end of 1996, the estate has been completely renovated. All the conditions have been united to make Malartic-Lagravière's wines worthy of their place amongst the greatest Bordeaux: a terroir and vineyard of high standards, innovative and high performance equipment devoted entirely to traditional winemaking methods, and a committed and passionate team. One of the only six classified growths both for its red and white, Château Malartic-Lagravière's wines are well known all over the world for their complexity, power, elegance and balance.
