Winemaker's Notes:

Producer: "This historic property near Cos D'Estournel can trace its routes back to the 16th century and has been on a meteoric rise in recent years, seemingly scoring better with every vintage. In the tough year that was 2011, Lilian Ladouys preformed majestically, crafting one of the finest wines ever to emerge at this estate. This property, which was mentioned in one of the first commercial guides to the wines of Bordeaux (published 1846) is now fully living up to its massive potential." "Now owned by the savvy Lorenzetti family, owners of Paullaic Classified growth Chateau Pedesclaux and partial owners of the Margaux estate Chateau D'Issan, the great terroir of this chateaus vineyards can finally come to full expression." - Tom Reissmann, Wine Library
