Château Lilian Ladouys Red Bordeaux Blend St. Estèphe 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"Dark and nicely layered, with crunchy acidity in between the notes of raspberry, cherry pit, plum sauce and savory herb. The long, chalk-filled finish has a whiff of smoke. A great turnaround over the last few years at this estate...90-93" WS 5/11 "Tasted at the Crus Bourgeois 2010 tasting in London. Word on the street is that Lilian Ladouys is on the up and this 2010 attests to that. It has a very pure bouquet with lovely blackberry, briary and subtle blueberry notes infused with fine minerality. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins. It is very caressing, beautifully balanced with great poise on the finish. Superb. Drink now-2022. Tasted September 2012...91" Neal Martin the Wine Journal erobertparker.com
