Quite an impressive nose rich with dried meat and black pepper aroma over intriguing blue floral, red cherry and blackberry fruit dotted with hints of candle wax and fragrant clean oak. This is rich and powerful with broad shoulders entering the mouth and delivering cocoa-tinged game, mineral, oak and earthy flavors tinged with a hint of fig. It's also really tight with lots of powdery tannins on the palate and some dusty confectioners sugar notes on the back end. There is great focus here, and excellent balance, I just don't know where this is going to go, but it reminds me in a way of the Achaval Ferrer Single Vineyard Malbecs, which age quite well. 90pts with room for improvement.

a blend of grenache gris and grenache blanc with peach, pear, and some subtle red fruit, even a little skunky, not very fruity, dryer with noticeable acidity

Awesome wine for a great price - Gentle flavours with room to grow - Blackcurrant flavours, medium-full bodied - maybe slightly tannic.

more concentrated on the nose, syrah dominates, black pepper, darker fruits and stew like, big and concentrated black fruit with spices on the finish, very different, amazing complexity. this was one of my favorite reds tasted from Gerard Bertrand

Wow, this is really good. It very fruity and succulent. Excellent rounded bouquet and when tasting the wine, it has almost bubbling sensation on the tongue. Also excellent finish leaving you wanting more. One of the best pinot noirs I have tested. Will match perfect with veal or chicken.

The inviting, deep cherry-cola color entices your nose to explore the olfactory delights of true cola, cherry and acidic red fruit such as cranberry or red huckleberry. From the distinguished La Clape district, this wine hits well about weight class with a delicious, well-balanced panoply of flavors from cola to wild mushroom and maquis. This is an excellent wine with an even more approachable price - if you can find it.

Gerard Bertrand is by far one of the most dynamic and brilliant winemakers from the South of France. He owns no less than seven estates nestling nicely among the most prestigious terroirs of Languedoc Roussillon, Gérard Bertrand was named in 2012 as the "European Winery of the Year" by Wine Enthusiast and "Red Wine Maker of the Year" by the IWC. Grapes : 40% Grenache blanc, 40% Marsanne and 20% Viognier Region: France / Languedoc Roussillon Maker: Gérard Bertrand Notes : Pale yellow colour with green tints. The nose is complex, both floral (laurel, acacia or box wood) and fruity (exotic and citrus fruits). Very aromatic mouth with a nice acidity level. Grades of fresh fruits and a smooth finish. Very enjoyable and easydrinking wine due to its aromatic freshness. Serve : To be served at 12-13° with hot & salty starters, fish, poultry & fresh cheeses. To be discovered too as an aperitif ABV : 12.5% Suitable for Vegetarians

A unique clear crystalline color with a high fruity, fresh and crisp style. The finish is very flavorful and gives this wine a easy drinking style.

Gerard Bertrand's Corbieres is a truly delightful GSM blend and this price I really don't know why you wouldn't give it a shot.
