Chateau l'Evangile Pomerol 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Decanter review:
Superior to the very good 2008 and 2005. Deep purple-black hue. Rich, dense and
powerful. Oozes dark fruit. Appealing now but has the depth and structure to
age. Probably the best of the modern era.
(Steven Spurrier - Decanter - April 2010)

Quite pure in the mouth, with mineral-driven flavors of dark berries, creamy milk chocolate and smoky plum. Lively framing acidity ex... Stephen Tanzers IWC.
