Chateau Lestrille Entre-Deux-Mers 2017

External Review by Great Wines Direct:

Intense citrus and mineral aromas lead to a lively, clean and zesty palate, very refreshing in style. At Chateau Lestrille, Estelle and Jean Louis Roumage make wines that are modern in style and fruit-driven. Because they believe the essence of winemaking lies in the vineyard itself, they use sustainable winegrowing practices, classic fermentation and temperature controlled, with frequent stirring.Grapes: 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% MuscadelleRegion: France / Bordeaux / St. Germain du PuchMaker: Estelle RoumageNotes: A fantastic blend with a pale-yellow colour and golden-green hues. The nose is intense with citrus, lime and pear. On the palate the wine evolves to show a mineral character. It is lively with good length, showing remarkable balance.Serve: At 10-12c it is a great match to seafood dishes such as crab ravioli or oysters.ABV: 12.5%Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
