Food Pairings for Chateau les Tuileries Blanc France Bordeaux-Entre Deux Mers
External Reviews for Chateau les Tuileries Blanc France Bordeaux-Entre Deux Mers
Flanked by two major rivers, the Entre Deux Mers region in the south of Bordeaux, is famous for its Sauvignon blanc/Semillon blends which, due to the cool and humid climate, take on a restrained crispness which pairs well with seafood of all kinds. This dry white is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Semillon and 5% Muscadelle. Entre-Deux-Mers means between two seas, and this region in Bordeaux, which produces only dry white wines lies between the Dordogne and Garonne Rivers where the gravely soil adds minerality to the wines of this region. With an aromatic nose of citrus, fresh herbs and lemon, this wine is vibrant and crisp with moderate acidity, yet has some softer, round fruit flavors. Pair with lighter dishes- appetizers, salads, soft cheeses and white meats.
