Deep, rich, bold, tannic but very very nice.

This is incredible on the nose, showing coffee cake, blackberry, floral, coffee bean and vanilla bean, with Chinese spices. A very complex, full-bodied red, with seamless, hyperpolished tannins that caress every millimeter of the palate. Lasts for minutes. So beautifully balanced, Irsquo;m left speechless. Is it even better than the 1989? Best after 2017.

Complex aromas of blackberries, tobacco and cedar follow through to a full-bodied palate, with ripe, velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. Very beautiful. Best after 2009.

Rich and wonderful wine, classic, with loads of vanilla, raspberry and chocolate aromas. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a long aftertaste of berry, grape and vanilla. Subtle, elegant and powerful, with great length. Best after 2009.

Seductive juice. Gorgeous aromas of crushed berries, tobacco, cigars and cedar. Full- to medium-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a long, fruity finish. Very fine indeed. Best after 2005.

The essence of Graves, with great concentration but no rough edges. The fruit and tannins are rich yet fully integrated, and the tobacco and cedar notes are classic for this estate. Best after 2000.

Bright ruby. Deep, superripe aromas of black cherry, roasted nuts and cocoa. Then thick, lush and sweet, with a rare fleshiness and pliancy of texture for such a young Haut-Brion. A truly three-dimensional wine that's packed with sweet, rich fruit. T... Stephen Tanzer. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2003 Haut Brion 750ml
