It's never easy to find solid Pomerol at reasonable prices; that's why we jumped all over this excellent Bordeaux value. Full of wild berries and spices, with a touch of raspberry on the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and very drinkable in its youth.

Dense and very dark in color yet the wine remains elegant with smoky black currant and blackberry fruit carried on a bed of distinct minerality. A Crozes-Hermitage-like value at half the price!

A real winner from the producer of one of the more popular wines from the Costiandeacute;res de Nimes, this Grenache-Syrah blend is dense, meaty and spicy. Smooth tannins allow the wine to roll over your tongue; the dark berry flavors abound through the gentle, dry finish. And at only $1 more than the regular bottling, how can you lose?

Tangy red currant and mineral notes run through this light-weight red, with sinewy tannins framing the finish. Drink now.

Château l’Ermitage was founded in the 11th Century by the Eremites of Ste Cécile d’Estagel Abbay. It is situated on the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostella. 100% syrah, from 25 year old vines, Compostelle is concentrated, deeply colored, with a dominant note of black fruit. Dense with mellow tannins. This wine leaves an impression of the pureness of the fruit. Perfect companion for T-bone steak, roast venison with cranberries, cold meats, or barbecued meat.
