Château l'Ermitage Red Bordeaux Blend Listrac-Médoc 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Riecht nach reifen Früchten und Gewürzen aus der Provence, sowie nach grauem Pfeffer. Am Gaumen sehr ausgewogen. Langer Abgang.

GSM blend (65/25/10). A simple wine, with decent fruit, but an overly tannic finish.

It's never easy to find solid Pomerol at reasonable prices; that's why we jumped all over this excellent Bordeaux value. Full of wild berries and spices, with a touch of raspberry on the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and very drinkable in its youth.

It's never easy to find solid Pomerol at a reasonable price, so we positively jumped on this excellent value in Right Bank Bordeaux. Full of wild berries and spices with a touch of raspberry on the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and very drinkable in its youth.

Dense and very dark in color yet the wine remains elegant with smoky black currant and blackberry fruit carried on a bed of distinct minerality. A Crozes-Hermitage-like value at half the price!

A real winner from the producer of one of the more popular wines from the Costiandeacute;res de Nimes, this Grenache-Syrah blend is dense, meaty and spicy. Smooth tannins allow the wine to roll over your tongue; the dark berry flavors abound through the gentle, dry finish. And at only $1 more than the regular bottling, how can you lose?
