Chateau l'Ermitage Cuvée Tradition Blanc 2007
Mainly Roussane with some Grenache and a tiny bit of Viognier, this is a lovely white wine that could easily become my summer quaffer. Fruity with a little floral.
Good up-front stone fruit (i got mainly apricot), some honey, a bit sweet in the mid pallette, not overly sweet, a twist of citrus...great value for summer.

Let the soft blackberry on the nose draw you in, then indulge in the blueberry and leather flavors in this full-bodied Rhône. Bursting with fresh fruit and mild tannins on the finish, this is a perfect match for a Philly cheese steak or burger.
Modest red plum and toast notes are followed by slightly grainy tannins on the finish. Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. Drink now.
Focused black cherry and currant fruit, with notes of tar and mineral on the fleshy finish. Nicely done. Drink now.
The simple wines that come from the Rhandocirc;ne region of France are some of my favorites. This red blend is 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvandegrave;dre. The winemakers allow the grapes to breathe out and the use of oak barrels is restricted as much as possible. This brings out the fruit and creates a structured but subtle, easy-drinking wine. Serve with blackened salmon or barbecued or grilled chicken.

Forward, with tasty dark fig and blackberry fruit mixed in with notes of mocha, fruitcake and sweet tobacco. A nice dash of grip on the finish keeps this honest. Syrah, Mourvandegrave;dre and Grenache. Drink now.
Mellow, smooth and incredibly easy to drink. Bright red raspberry, cherry and currant fruits, with just a touch of spice. This is a great "anytime" wine.
