User Reviews for Château Leret-Monpezat Cahors
Add your reviewDeep, high opacity red color. Big nose with ripe, dark fruit and rustic tones. Hits the mouth softly and sets nicely with complex structure of acidity and tannins, stays for a long time with great notes of the dark fruit. This is in the beginning of it's lifespan, I think it easily can take 6-7 years in the cellar. This is a fine Malbec (with 8 % Merlot and 2 % Tannat) that's a direct competitor to it's Bordeaux neighbors which are priced slightly higher.
