Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Winemaker's Notes:

Percentage Grape: Mostly merlot 70% and 30% Cabernet Franc

Soil: Clayey and chalky

Growing Climate: Since our vineyard is all located on the hilltop with full sun exposure, very good climat and top maturity attained. The vintage is a promise of full aromas and well structured wine. Very elegant wine that can be drink now.

Type of Harvest: Mix of manually and mecanically with rigid selections of ripe grapes. Better to wait for the optimal ripeness of the grapes to surely have all the aromas and elegance.

Alcohol Percentage: 13 %

Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l
