Chateau Le Pey is the oldest domain owned by the Compagnet family in the Médoc in Bordeaux, France. The wine was classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 2003, and is a member of the Cru Bourgeois alliance. Françoise Compagnet, his wife Claude and their children, Olivier and Pierre run all aspects of the operation. The wine is produced from 55% Cabernet Sauvignon with 45% Merlot and spends a minimum 12 months in French oak, with 25% of it new barrels.
