Château le Dome Red Bordeaux Blend St. Émilion 1999

Winemaker's Notes:

With the highest proportion of Cabernet Franc in any Bordeaux wine at thislevel, the vineyard of Le Dome is expertly constructed under the stewardship ofJonathan Malthus of Ch. Teyssier. The average age of the vines is around 60years and this imparts considerable complexity to this linear and focussedwine. Few Bordeaux wines undergo such a rigorous selection process, resultingin a truly impressive 1999 vintage, that is approachable with air now but thatwill keep for many years to come. Sit back and enjoy the complexity and purityof great Cabernet Franc.
