Château Le Boscq:
The estate has a long history going back to at least the 18th century and was once owned by a Thomas Barton who was also associated with Chateau Leoville Barton and Chateau Langoa Barton in Saint Julien. Estate manager Jean Grazilhon bought it in 1889 and acheived Cru Bourgeoise status in 1932. It was then bought by the Douthe negociant house in 1995. There are 18 hectares of vineyards and there is a Grande wine and a second wine 'Heritage de le Boscq'

Château le Boscq St.-Estèphe is made of 60% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot and 7% Cabernet Franc. Both it's nose and palate have a complex profile of spices, berries and currants with silky tannins and a fresh finish.
